ASOC Team competition
The final team scores are in, bringing the Australian Schools Orienteering Championships and Southern Cross Junior Challenge to a close after 3 days of racing across the Sprint, Long Distance and Relay events.
In the ASOC team competition, the ACT claimed the overall title with 67 points, 5 clear of Tasmania on 62, with NSW 3rd on 59. Queensland finished 4th on 42, just ahead of South Australia on 41, followed by Victoria on 27 and Western Australia on 25.

The individual class team honours were also spread across several states. ACT won the Senior Boys and Junior Girls competitions, while Tasmania took the Senior Girls title and NSW claimed Junior Boys.

Southern Cross Junior Challenge
The Southern Cross Junior Challenge produced an even closer finish, with the 2 New Zealand teams Harua and Karahiwi finishing locked together on 102 points after the full 3-race program. ACT was the leading Australian team on 90 points, while NSW and Tasmania also finished level on 78.
