Creativity Takes Flight at Oceania 2026

Our Oceania 2026 Creative Art Competition attracted four wonderfully imaginative entries, each bringing together orienteering, wildlife and the spirit of Mulligans Flat.

Bridget Uppill took things into another dimension with an impressive 3D stacked laser-cut wood Mulligans Flat landscape, complete with orienteering contours, an orienteering course and animals. Anna Fitzgerald created Night Nav, a beautifully detailed fine drawing inspired by navigating after dark. Young artists Georgie and Harper Dias added a wonderful splash of colour with their bright and creative paintings.

With 4 very different interpretations, choosing just one winner was no easy task.

But after the judging was complete, one entry fluttered to the top…

Congratulations to Bridget Uppill, winner of the Family Twilight Tour at Mulligans Flat Woodland Sanctuary for her clever and original 3D creation. Wildbark at Mulligans Flat will also display Bridget’s artwork in their visitor centre on site.

A huge thank you to all 4 artists for joining in and showing us that orienteering can inspire creativity well beyond the map and compass.
